The Bezanson General Store has served the Community of Bezanson and the traveling public since the 1950’s.

In its early days it was the major grocery store for the whole area. As times have changed, so has the store. It still sells a large line of grocery items, but now also is very much in the nature of a convenience store.

If you want snacks, soft drinks, chocolate bars, newspapers, or magazines, why drive all the way to Grande Prairie; pick them up at the Bezanson Store.

But it is much more than a grocery and convenience store. You can also buy gasoline, propane, oil, and other automobile needs. All prices are equivalent to Grande Prairie prices, in fact, several recent surveys have confirmed that Bezanson’s gasoline prices are tied with the lowest prices in Grande Prairie. We even feature a range of hardware items for your consideration.

But that is not all. 

You can also rent videos from the store. Get the latest releases, as well as selection of older favorites.

But that is not all! The store is licensed by the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, and you can purchase lottery tickets and a wide selection of beer, liquor, wine, and coolers. We will even cater all your beverage needs for your next event, whether it be a dance, wedding, or dinner.

But that is not all!! The store is also a post office. You can buy your stamps, weigh your parcels and pick up your mail.  But that is not all!!! The store is also the Sears  Outlet for the region. You can place your order, check a catalogue, and pick up your purchases.

A brand new service to the public opened in September of 2000.  The Northern Lites motel opened next to the Store and  offers attractive, modern accommodations for the travelling public, at reasonable rates.
