Botha's passion for endurance sports goes far beyond
active participation. He held a position of Team
Physician for the South African Running Team. He toured
with the team to several World Championships. He also
serves as Team Doctor for a Mens’ Senior Hockey Team,
the Grimshaw Huskies.
As an advocate of physical fitness, he has raised funds
for the purchase of fitness equipment in several
communities in the capacity of a fitness consultant. He
has maintained an ongoing crusade in promoting health
and well being. |
